New Hosting Plan

I am very excited to talk about my new host. It is the 2nd hosting plan after I moved my web-site abroad.  Yesterday, I finished paying for the bill for the new host.

The name of the Hosting is the Lunarpages. It is very famous in America Web-Hosting Service. The service plan of mine is the Basic Plan In Linux and a Dedicated IP.

One interesting point I would like to mention that the service of Lunarpages is better than HM. The respondents of lunarpages is very fast. Their solution for the questions and the way of asking questions are more progressive in HM and LP. You can easily write E-mail to the customer service representative. All the attachments and responses will be added to the Lunardesk on their service center. I grabbed some mail history from my mailbox:

Lunarpages can become the registrar for .com, .net, .org, .name, .us, .ca, .co.uk, .biz, and .info domains.

Before we can process a domain transfer request, we need the following to be acknowledged and/or answered:

Transferring a domain to Lunarpages costs only $9.95. The domain will renew at $9.95 per year thereafter.

If you have not used your Free Domain for Life offer, there would be no charge to renew the domain. (A one-time transfer fee of $9.95 still applies on Free for Life domains that are transferred from another registrar**.) Please let us know if you would like to use this domain for your Free Domain for Life offer. Also note that this only applies to our annual (12/24 month) plans.

If you would like the registration to be anonymous (where Lunarpages’ information is displayed on a whois lookup rather than yours) we can do this for an additional $7.95 per domain per year for the anonymous registration. Please let us know if you would like this service.

For the transfer, we would need your cPanel username, last 4 digits of your credit card on file with us, authorization to charge your credit card, your current password, and the domain name to transfer.

Note: We need to verify you as the account owner even if you are using this as your free domain.

Approximately 24 hours after we make the request, you will receive a confirmation email from TuCOWS asking for authorization to transfer the domain.  This email will arrive at the administrative contact email listed in your domain whois. Do you have access to this email?

Is the domain active?  A domain that has a status of REGISTRAR-HOLD or REGISTRAR-LOCK cannot be transferred. Please make sure the domain does not have a lock or hold on it, or the transfer will fail instantly.

A transfer can take up to a week, and the request can be denied by the current registrar with no reason given.
